Echoing hills individuals smiling and happy while traveling and enjoying time out in the communities.

In 2025…

the people we serve stepped into new opportunities, discovered adventures across Ohio and beyond, and grew in independence, confidence, and connection. They built meaningful relationships, strengthened lifelong skills, and embraced days filled with joy, purpose, and possibility. Yet there is still so much ahead. More interests waiting to be explored, more goals ready to be reached, more passions hoping for a chance to shine. With your support, we can help make those next steps—and next dreams—a reality.

DISCOVERING HOBBIES
Our friends at the Starbuck Home enjoyed the opportunity to plant a garden again this summer. This year, they peeled, diced, and pulsed the fruits of their labor, turning their fresh produce into delicious salsa. This treat was shared with family and friends across the state.

ENJOYING RELATIONSHIPS
Teresa and Lindsay have been married for over 30 years. This year, their love continued to blossom with numerous opportunities for date nights. Going to the movie theater, enjoying a bite at local restaurants, and seeing Keith Urban in concert were a few of their favorite activities.

FINDING INDEPENDENCE
Kristin has dreamed of getting a cell phone, finding a job, and moving out on her own. This past year, she was able to get a phone and find employment. Working at Steak and Shake, she saved up her money and recently moved into her own apartment.

FULFILLING DREAMS
Ed loves music, especially the group Alabama. Since he was 25, Ed has dreamed of seeing the band at a concert. This year, with the help of his DSP Marsha, Ed took a two-day trip to Indiana to make his dream come true. He’s already planning his next trip to see Alabama again.

RELEARNING SKILLS
Suffering an acute decline in mobility, cognition, and overall health, Amber started this year unable to do many things she once had. With one-on-one support from team members, she is now talking, laughing, reaching for items, and making choices again.

There’s still time to make an impact with your year-end gift now—every contribution brings us closer to brighter futures for those who rely on us. Together with your support we can continue to inspire hope and celebrate life!
