Join us this summer at Camp Echoing Hills – a non-profit Christian camp located in
Warsaw, Ohio – serving adults and children with intellectual and/or developmental
disabilities.

Summer Camp Counselors – Kitchen Staff – Cleaning Staff – Activity Coordinator

Camp Echoing Hills Staff choosing to serve for the 2025 camp season will begin on June, 2025 – August, 2025 and will
finish on August, 2025. This includes a week of orientation that will prepare new camp counselors and
refresh seasoned camp counselors on how to complete all job tasks. No experience is necessary.

The weekly rate of pay for summer staff starts at $400. Staff are paid bi-weekly. Camp Staff will stay on-
site during the Camp season with room and board provided.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Most of our positions are for Camp Counselors who are responsible for the physical and spiritual care of
all the campers who attend Camp Echoing Hills. Many of these campers have some level of disability,
and some of them will need assistance with personal care and behavior support. Work performed in
these positions will be hands-on and interactive and require physical labor.

A professional, patient, and confidential manner is required.

This position requires reading, writing, communicating and interacting positively with various staff and
developmentally disabled (DD) campers. A positive image and conduct of a professional nature are
required at all times. This position will have potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other
infectious materials and will require understanding infection control, universal precaution, and safety
techniques. This position will also require a general understanding of rules and regulations related to the
care and treatment of DD individuals. Work performed will be under the direction of the Camp
leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a strong desire to work with DD individuals in a camp environment.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. Must be able to safely utilize camper transport equipment such
as wheelchairs and lifts. The position also requires a demonstrated Christian background and a
demonstrated ability to fulfill the mission and purpose of the Ministry. CPR and First Aid are required
and are provided during orientation.
