What is Echoing Hills?

Echoing Hills is a 501c (3) non-profit organization based out of Warsaw, Ohio. We provide residential, educational, recreational, and adult services throughout the state of Ohio for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The programs align with our values: the right to choose, the dignity of each person, personal fulfillment in God’s plan, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. At Echoing Hills, we are committed to revolutionizing lives where people live, learn, connect, play, and worship.

Where is Echoing Hills located?

Echoing Hills has 53 locations located in Northern, Northeast, Central, Southwest, and Southeast Ohio. Our programs and services serve close to 800 people annually in the counties of Athens, Coshocton, Lorain, Montgomery, Stark, and Summit.

What does Residential Services look like?

Our Residential Services, which we call Echoing Hills Community Living, is located in each of the five regions we serve. We offer Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) and Waiver homes that provide supports to help an individual with disabilities live a self-directed life. We embrace a person-centered approach and assist individuals in a way that is meaningful to them personally. Ultimately, we help individuals to take an active role in their lives, to have a voice, and to live a fulfilled life. Find out more by visiting our residential page.

What does Adult Services offer?

Echoing Connections, our Adult Services program, has locations in Northeast, Central, Southwest, and Southeast Ohio. Echoing Connections helps maximize independence and self-worth while finding a place to belong. We currently offer day programming designed to provide development in life skills, vocational training, education, recreational opportunities, and exploration that promotes community participation. What does Recreation look like?

Camp Echoing Hills is located in Warsaw, Ohio. Set on 94 acres, and surrounded by beauty no matter which direction you turn, our camp offers unforgettable experiences each summer. Campers enjoy five days filled with swimming, cookouts, sing-a-longs, rides on the go-cart track, and more! Camp Echoing Hills provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to experience new adventures and friendships while providing caregivers a respite. We have many campers return year after year.

What does your Educational Program Offer?

EchoingU is located in Northern, Northeast, and Southwest Ohio. EchoingU is a transition program designed for young adults with developmental disabilities exploring the next steps in life. The program prepares them for the future and blends classroom instruction with daily living skills, experiences, and opportunities, including exploring the community. Do I need to be a certain denomination or belong to a certain church to utilize the services of Echoing Hills?

Echoing Hills is a Christian ministry. You do not need to be a certain denomination or attend a particular church to benefit from all that our programs offer. Throughout the ministry, we participate in daily devotions and prayer. We believe we all were created to have a close and personal relationship with God. Through this relationship, we experience peace, joy, love, hope, and discover our purpose.
