Tenacious, Dedicated, and Accepted by Christ – meet Cordell Brown.

Cordell and his late wife, Jane, founded Camp Echoing Hills, later becoming Echoing Hills Village, in 1967. Although he retired as President and Founder of the organization in 2001, Cordell continues to serve the ministry by being a committed member of the Board of Directors.

Cordell has served on several boards throughout his life. He currently serves on the Joni and Friends International Board and Executive Committee in addition to Echoing Hills. He is an active member at the Calvary Baptist Church in Coshocton, Ohio, and belongs to several organizations, including the Lions Club of Wooster, Ohio.

Cordell has two sons, Paul and Harold, and four grandchildren. He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Warsaw, Ohio.

Why does Cordell choose to serve on the board here at Echoing Hills? “Echoing Hills is my life.  My passion is Camp Echoing Hills – it is at the center of what makes us different and opens doors to the other services and programs we offer.”
