EchoingU ~ The Best Part is U!

EchoingU is a post-secondary transition program designed for young adults with developmental disabilities exploring the next steps in life. The program prepares students for the future and blends educational classroom instruction with daily living skills, experiences, and opportunities, including engaging with your community.

Education for U

EchoingU of Southwest Ohio offers core classes in Money Skills, Communication Skills, and Foundational Core. Our programs prepare students for the next chapter of their lives.

Students of EchoingU have gone on to pursue college degrees, entered the workforce, and moved into their own homes. Education includes instructional and hands-on learning.

Engagement for U

Located in the American Red Cross building, you are a part of the community the minute you walk through the door. You can assist with American Red Cross activities, such as making lifesaving packets for the Sound the Alarm Campaign, and have the opportunity to explore the greater community through our Community ECHO program, and engage with members of that community. Students of EchoingU have given back to their community by volunteering their time at places like Shoes for the Shoeless and 4 Paws for Ability.

At EchoingU, we study hard, AND we play hard! You can enjoy growing and learning together with friends while exploring your passions and interests. We have enjoyed going to RiverScape, Dorothy Lane Market, Cox Arboretum, Aullwood Audubon Center, USAF Museum, and more!
