Blessed, Grateful, and Forgiven – meet Kathy Fredericka.

Kathy retired as COO for A Kid Again in Columbus, Ohio, and is currently a part-time accountant at Baker & Hostetler law firm. She serves as a devoted member of the Board of Directors at Echoing Hills.

Kathy and her husband, Frank, reside in Columbus, Ohio. Together, they have four children and four grandchildren. They enjoy spending time together as a family and attend many youth sporting events. Kathy and Frank belong to Columbus Vineyard church, actively serving in three ministries. When not taking care of a loved one with intellectual disabilities and another with Alzheimer’s, you can likely find Kathy with a book in her hand.

Why does Kathy choose to serve on the board here at Echoing Hills? “I now have a personal appreciation for intellectual disabilities. When I stepped down from my executive-level jobs to be a caretaker, I looked for a board opportunity. One that would allow me to give back, using my years of nonprofit experience and my heart for those with intellectual disabilities. We believe as Christians, we are called to serve the least, last, and lost in society. Echoing Hills was a great match for me professionally and spiritually.”
