2020 Camp Cancelled

Dear Camper Friends and Families,
As we have witnessed the unprecedented climate of our world today, and have believed for a miraculous solution to the COVID-19 situation, we have had to make an extremely difficult decision. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Camp Echoing Hills Summer Camp 2020 is canceled. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our campers, staff and volunteers; therefore, this decision was a necessity and not one that was made lightly.
It saddens us that our campers will not be with us physically, but we know each camper will be with us in spirit. It also devastates us that families will not be able to enjoy the respite that we know is very important and so much needed.
So, let’s join together in praying for one another during this challenging time. Pray for campers, who will miss out on the fun, fellowship and friends. Parents and families, who rely on this time to relax and recharge. Summer staff and volunteers, who build their faith and relationship with God and others. Full-time staff, who pour their whole heart and soul into the preparation and fulfillment of camp. And, even our organization as a whole, which will be spiritually and financially impacted. Let us take heart in knowing, our God is good. And, he will meet all our needs – spiritually, emotionally, and financially for all persons impacted.
This is the first time in our 53 year history that we cannot come together as a family to support, encourage and love one another. Although camp won’t be the same in 2020, we want to assure you, Camp 2021 will be a time to come together and celebrate. Celebrating YOU! The amazing YOU that God has brought into our lives, and has left us better because of that relationship.
Our team is already diligently working on a means to stay connected throughout the summer and coming months. Be sure to stay up-to-date via Camp Echoing Hills Facebook for announcements.
For campers and families who have already registered, you will be receiving a full refund by check. If the refund needs to go to a different address from what is on file, please contact Doreen Peterson at dkpeterson@ehvi.org or 740.327.0300 option 1. If we have not heard from you by May 8th, the check will go to the address we have listed.
Thank you for your continued support – love and prayers! May God bless you and release His hedge of protection over each and every one of you!
Warm Regards,Tim Neville
