Kind, Loud, and Selfless – Meet Nick Neininger!

Nick is the Multimedia Presentation Specialist – a newly created position at Echoing Hills. Hearing about the organization from his mom Avy, Staff Development Director at Echoing Hills, Nick applied to the ministry because it aligned with how he was raised, his values, and his life.

In this new role, Nick will work on turning an idea into a product, website, or resource. For example, he is currently working to make EchoTV suitable for everyone. EchoTV is a streaming channel that will eventually be available on TVs across the regions.

Nick works with Donnis, the IT/Outreach Coordinator & Corporate Chaplain. He shares that this partnership is going well and that they have learned a lot from one another. Donnis values his opinion and is happy to be working with him.

EchoTV is their top priority. Together, they are also working to develop new training material. Nick’s favorite part of his job is taking requests and developing them into ideas. He is purpose-driven and motivated by the variety of his workload.

Previously, Nick’s experience included anti-fraud accounting and freelance live streaming. He has also worked with Facebook for PNC Bank. He is self-motivated and independent and has gained experience working from home.

Nick’s favorite part of working at Echoing Hills is that people are nice, genuine, and sincere. He has felt unaccomplished at previous jobs but at Echoing Hills he feels cared for. In his free time, Nick enjoys multimedia research, video games, movies, and exercise. He was once a pitcher in the Little League World Series.

Growing up, Nick’s mom was a teacher at a school for those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He also played sports with friends who had disabilities. He says, “It puts things in perspective.”
