Team Members Show Goodness

Echoing Hills Celebrates Team Members That Show Fruit of the Spirit, Goodness
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

We can all think of someone we would describe as being a good person. But, what does it mean to be good?
Goodness is doing what is right. It is choosing to do the right thing even if it is not easy, fun, or convenient. We choose goodness even if there is no one there to witness it.
Galatians 6:10 shares, “Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
Wouldn’t it be great to share and receive more goodness in this world?
This month, we celebrate a few team members of Echoing Hills that are examples of this Fruit of the Spirit!

Camille – Starbuck Home Manager
“We have chosen Camille as the face of goodness. She not only goes above and beyond for the individuals that she works with, but she makes them feel loved, happy, and safe. Camille strives to include the individuals in the community as much as possible. Outings such as Cedar Point, Dave and Busters, Ice Cream, Fishing Charters, Cleveland Browns games, Cleveland Indian games, Cleveland Cavaliers games, and Put-In-Bay. She recently got the individuals involved in the Wooly Bear Parade, which occurs each October in Vermilion, Ohio.

Camille is also able to make the families of the individuals feel at ease. She is effective with her communication between the families and Echoing Hills. Families reach out to the administration to share their thoughts on how well she works with the individuals served. She is very caring and considerate with staff as well, ensuring that through these hard times they know that they can talk with her, and she will assist them with their needs.”

Sarah – Camp and Activities Director
“Sarah is full of goodness. Recently she jumped in to help Echoing Connections for a week while several people were out for various reasons. She helped us in many ways! This included opening the building, delegating things for the Rubber Ducks field trip, and ensuring the staff had something for DSP week. She even helped divert any uneasiness that team members may have had during stressful times. Sarah stepped in without hesitation and did it all with a smile and true professionalism. She is the definition of a team player at Echoing Hills! We would not have made it through the week without her and her goodness!”

Dawn – Direct Support Professional (DSP)

“Dawn is such an incredible DSP and is someone who you can tell truly cares for the individuals we serve. Her interactions with the individuals are very much person-centered. She has a unique bond with each person we serve. When she isn’t working, you can feel the void!”
Kelly – Direct Support Professional (DSP)
“Kelly is a new DSP, but it is obvious this is what she is meant to do. She always has a smile on her face. That smile does not go away, even when she is having a bad day!”

Love. Learn. Worship.
