It is almost that time – Christmas! The time of year when we partake in food, gifts, music, and memories! All while sharing His peace, love, and joy!

We asked several individuals at Echoing Hills to reflect and share their Christmas favorites and memories. Here is what they had to say.

What Is Your Favorite Food to Eat at Christmas?
One of the best parts of the holidays is easy the food. Warm, comforting, and shared with those you love. According to a YouGov poll, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, and turkey are the top three favorite dishes for Americans. Despite being eleventh in the poll, ham was the favorite amongst those surveyed at Echoing Hills.

What Has Been a Favorite Gift You Have Received at Christmas?
Research from Survey Monkey shows 68% of people identify gift-giving as a “love language.” Christmas is a great time to both give and receive presents. When going down memory lane, toys were a favorite gift for many of those we serve. For one, the best gift he ever received was making his mom happy. Talk about a joyful gift!

What Is Your Favorite Christmas Song?
A song can elicit a feeling of happiness within a couple of notes. Lucky for music lovers, this season gives us many great songs that can boost our internal joy. The average holiday music lover listens to 65 hours and 24 minutes of holiday music every year – that’s a lot of time to feel cheerful!

What Does Christmas Mean to You?
According to a poll from Ipsos, three-quarters of Americans believe others have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas. Those we surveyed agreed Jesus was the “reason for the season;” however, there were other heartwarming things to share, too!
