Leading By Example
Supporting staff who care for individuals with disabilities, the Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA) and the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) acknowledge those serving in the field. For over 100 years, both organizations have built, strengthened, and advocated for providers, working to grow the community.
Two staff members from Echoing Hills were honored with an award from each organization. Brielle, Home Manager in Northern Ohio, received the Front Line Supervisor award from OPRA. Mark, Regional Director in Central and Southeast Ohio, received an ID/DD Excellence award from OHCA. You’re invited to read their nominations below.
Dedicated, Hardworking, and Caring – meet Brielle!
Through intentionality and adaptability, Brielle ensures that individuals make their appointments, participate in outings, and attend to their medical needs. She helps other locations in addition to running the home she manages. Her joyful disposition brings laughter to those around her. She has been a DSP for nine years and a Home Manager for two years. Since entering her position, the home has become energetic and peaceful.
Loyal, Kind, and Trustworthy – Meet Mark!
Leading by example, Mark listens to his employees without judgment. His dedication to the ministry shows through his 30 years of service. Although his role does not prompt him to spend time with the individuals we serve, Mark has invested time in getting to know them. He has traveled with those we support, taking them to places they want to go. For example, Mark took an individual on his family vacation, a trip the individual talks about still today. It was that memorable!
Echoing Hills celebrates team members who lead by example. Our organization works to develop people who will inspire confidence in others, including the individuals we serve.
