Team Members Share Faithfulness

Now faith is a confidence in what we hope for and an assurance about what we do not see.
–Hebrews 11:1

The fruit of spirit faithfulness comes from a place of trust. It is being loyal to God. It is knowing that no matter what happens in our lives, good or bad, He is in control.

Echoing Hills is blessed to have valued team members that show faithfulness every day. We celebrate a couple of those individuals this month!

Marsha – DSP
“Marsha is a great example of faithfulness. She will tell you that when she first started at Echoing Hills, she did not have a strong relationship with God. Over her career here, however, she has grown tremendously in her faith. To me, faithfulness also means giving your all to someone or something with zero expectations in return. Marsha shows this faithfulness routinely by continuously picking up shifts, staying over, and doing anything she can to help care for the individuals we support. She is someone we can always count on to be at work when scheduled and to give her all when she is here.”

Alex – DSP
“Alex is very active in his church and is a huge part of the music worship team. Shortly after he became employed with us, I asked him to lead devotions. He took this project on and ran with it, showing both his strengths and interests. Before the COVID closure, he led devotions two days a week in our building. We opened it up to others outside of Echoing Hills by adding his program, echoingWORD (eW), to the Athens County Calendar of Events through Integrate Athens Office. Alex loves sharing his faith and helping others learn. He provides an open ear and caring heart to individuals who approach him to talk. A few of those we serve have tagged him “preacher man.” If they are struggling, I have seen Alex listen and offer guidance and prayer.”

Love. Learn. Worship.
