Thoughtful, Faithful, and Determined – Meet Kyle!
A man of faith, Kyle was searching for a meaningful way to contribute his skills to help a ministry. Discovering the Director of Information Technology position through an online job posting, he felt called to apply to Echoing Hills. Fulfilling his calling, he began his role at the beginning of January.
“When I first read about the job, my wife’s cousin came to my mind. Echoing Hills could be a great place to consider for his care,” Kyle explains. “The organization’s mission of revolutionizing lives and the Christ-centered approach inspired me to apply. I am looking forward to helping people do things they’ve never done before and making tasks easier to accomplish using assistive technology.”
With over six years of experience as a Chief Information Officer and IT consultant, Kyle has developed leadership, task execution, and program development skills. A highlight of his professional career, he has also built an IT department from the ground up. This work, along with his professional skills, makes him a great fit for his role in the ministry.
As Director of IT, Kyle will take on a variety of projects. This includes traveling across Echoing Hills’ five regions, ensuring all technology is working properly, and making improvements when needed. Expeditiously, he is remotely monitoring computers and developing technology processes, for example, work request submissions, to maximize efficiency in the workplace.
Both professionally and personally, he’s a natural problem solver. “I like to fix things,” Kyle shares. Projects are his favorite pastime! Not only does he enjoy working on computers, but he also works on cars, equipment, and the occasional home improvement task. Taking care of his home helps him care for his family, including his wife and three children, ages six, four, and two, as well as their family pets, dog (Rocky) and cat (Spidey), like Spiderman!
